The loop above is the ‘Lodge Trail’ on the Forestry and Land Scotland guide to Glenmore Forest Park.
It is about 2.5 miles long but you can do the first seven nature connection activities and then return the way that you came for a shorter walk. The paths are mainly gravel with some slightly uneven sections, and the loop includes a small number of short steep gradients but nothing very strenuous.

About Allt and Glenmore Forest Park
Allt More is predominantly an established pine forest with extensive ground cover of heather, blueberry and juniper, and has many streams running through it.
Getting Here
From Aviemore take the road towards the Cairngorms for about 7 miles until you pass Glenmore Forest and see the entrance to Altt Mor signposted about mile further.
The nearest postcode is PH22 1RB.
Forestry and Land Scotland have recently introduced charging for parking in many of their car parks.
The charges to park at this forest car park are:
£1 for up to 1 hour for all vehicles
£3 for all day for a car with up to 7 seats
Blue badge holders park free, but please display your Blue Badge clearly.
Public Transport
There is a bus between Aviemore and the Cairngorm Ski Centre that stops near by.
